Our new construction facilities are strategically located to be easily accessed from both the Gulf of Mexico and Intracostal Waterway. The new construction shipbuilding facilities at LEEVAC feature state-of-the-art maritime construction equipment and computer cutting technology housed in a controlled environment. Our modular construction is performed in a combined 210,000-square-foot covered fabrication areas – which means virtually no weather delays to hold up projects. Our new vessel construction facilities include an 85,000-square-foot and a 24,000-square-foot computerized steel fabrication shops (both with a computer-aided plasma cutting machine), an 8,000 square feet pipe shop with a computerized pipe machine (three-axis pipe cutting system) that allows our craftsmen to prefab and spool pipe indoors. LEEVAC's facilities also include two warehouse complexes featuring more than 46,000 square feet of storage space.
