 | Mr. Bertrand’s employment with LEEVAC began in May 1968 when, at the age of 20, he worked as a laborer in the Production area. Additionally, he has worked in the Engineering Department as a draftsman, and was promoted to the position of Assistant Purchasing Agent in January 1970. He was later promoted to Purchasing Agent in April 1974, to Ship Superintendent in September 1979, and to Operations Planning Manager in November 1980. In March 1987, he was promoted to Project Manager over the construction of Texaco, Inc. and Kerr-McGee offshore living quarters. Mr. Bertrand attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana and has received additional specific technical and management training in areas relating to project and supervisory management while employed by LEEVAC.
